Description
3/20/24 – This is an excellent example of an end-of-war Steyr BNZ 45 Kriegsmodell rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1945. It is all matching and has the proper characteristics for this variation: “Waffen 623” proofs throughout, mixture of phosphate and blued parts, no bayonet lug, screw-fastened barrel bands, Mauser-made floor plate and trigger assembly. One waffen proof on the stock. The metal parts have retained nearly all of their finish with some areas of light spotty discoloration/oxidation here and there (typical for these finishes). Brown patina on the butt plate. Excellent wood furniture. Mint bore.
