Description
7/5/23 – This is a nice example of an Erfurt Ortgies Semi Auto pistol, manufactured in the 1920’s and chambered in 7.65mm. All matching with a “Germany” export marking on the frame. There is also what appears to be a police unit marking on the front strap, “1. Div. 7.”. Comes as a rig with an un-marked period-correct leather holster and one reproduction magazine. The gun itself has retained roughly 80-85% of its original finish. There are areas of light spotty wear and tiny dots of oxidation throughout, concentrated mostly around the high edges and around the muzzle. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips – minor bruising on both sides. Very nice bore with great rifling.
