Description
4/8/26 – This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket, manufactured in 1931 and chambered in .25 ACP. According to the included Colt Factory Letter, it was shipped to Wolf & Klar in Fort Worth, Texas on March 13, 1931 in a shipment of 10 guns. Wolf and Klar was a well known pawn shop, jewelry store and gun retailer, perhaps best known for being the location where Kathryn Kelly purchased a Thompson submachine gun for her husband, the infamous though inept George “Machine Gun” Kelly. This one has retained about 96% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is concentrated around the high edges with some areas of freckling – most noticeable along both sides of the slide. Fitted with excellent wood grips and comes with one proper magazine. Very nice bore with good rifling.
