8/2/23 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1939. It is all matching with the proper “Eagle 63” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a complete rig with a very nice 1939-dated tan leather holster, an “Eagle 655” marked tool, and two original matching-numbered magazines. The gun itself has retained about 95% of its original finish with very minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and one light streak of wear on the left side of the barrel. Hints of dulling and freckling on the grip straps. Fitted with minty un-numbered wood grips. Very nice bore with strong rifling, but there is minor frosting in the grooves.
