2/28/24 – This is an excellent Colt Commando Revolver issued to the US military in 1942. It is matching and has the proper “GHD” and flaming bomb military proofs. “PAC-BR-36335” scratched into the butt of the frame. The original parkerized finish rates about 96% with minor muzzle wear and very minor high edge wear. Fitted with excellent period-correct reddish plastic grips. The bore is shiny with very strong rifling, but unfortunately there is a slight bulge in the barrel near the muzzle end.
