5/13/24 -This is an excellent example of a Colt 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is all correct except for the main spring housing, which belongs on an earlier gun. Colt barrel with a small “F” under the lug. The finish rates about 95% with minor muzzle and high edge wear. Some tiny dots of wear along the top of the slide. Fitted with excellent reddish plastic grips and comes with a period-correct magazine. Nice bore with great rifling, but there’s some minor fouling in the grooves.
