Description
8/25/25 – This is an excellent grouping of WW2 Japanese artifacts. First, the gun is a Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in August of 1944. It is all matching, but it’s missing its firing pin and firing pin extension. It comes as a rig with a leather hard shell holster (some of the stitching is missing from the top flap) and a mismatched but period-correct magazine. The gun has retained about 96% of its original finish with just a few small streaks of wear along the barrel and some surface oxidation on the front strap. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips. This rig also comes as a grouping with an M98 Japanese Sgt coat from 1942 (excellent condition), a Japanese canteen with canvas shoulder harness, a leather map case, and a Japanese Army Officer Cap (fairly tattered condition).
