4/1/24 – This is an excellent example of a Remington Rand 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It is all correct and has a proper “HS” marked High Standard barrel. It has retained about 97% of its original parkerized finish with just very minor muzzle and high edge wear. Tiny dots of brown patina here and there. Beautiful bright blue barrel. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with a proper “L” marked magazine. Mint bore.
