08/01/2024 – For sale is an M1 Garand made in 1955 at the Springfield Arsenal. The rifle is in excellent condition overall with an excellent parkerized finish on the metal. The stock is also in great condition with minimal wear or handling marks. The left side of the stock is stamped with the Civil Defense mark. The rifle is parts correct for a rifle produced in late 1955. The bore is very bright with great rifling. The muzzle erosion rate a 1.5 and throat erosion is 1.
