5/2/24 – This is an excellent example of a 2nd model Luftwaffe Officer’s Dagger from WW2. The dagger features an excellent, clean blade with cross graining visible throughout. There are some mild surface scratches from scabbard rub, and some very light freckling of surface oxidation / discoloration. Maker marked by Eickhorn on one side. The hand guard and pommel have normal surface patina throughout and high edge wear. The burnt orange bakelite handle has a tightly wrapped chord and has no cracks or chips. The scabbard is in great shape with no dents or major issues.
