Description
12/5/23 – This is an excellent Smith & Wesson .38/44 Outdoorsman Model, chambered in .38 Special. According to the included S&W factory letter, it was shipped to George Washington Co in Cleveland, OH on June 22, 1954. It is matching and comes with a period-correct but mismatched box. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its high polish finish with minor wear around the muzzle, minor wear on the high edges of the cylinder, a very light roll mark on the cylinder, and some tiny scratches and handling marks here and there. Fitted with excellent checkered Walnut grips. Mint bore.
