3/25/26 – The Bat Masterson Colt Frontier Scout is a 1968 offering from Colt’s “Lawman Series,” honoring the famed frontier lawman, gambler, and later New York sportswriter Bat Masterson. It is a .22 LR single-action revolver built on the Frontier Scout platform, featuring a nickel-plated finish, black grips, and a “Lawman Series – Bat Masterson” marking on the barrel. These were produced as collectible display pieces during the height of the Western revival era, with a limited run (generally around 3,000 units). This one comes in a Bat Masterson presentation case. It is in excellent condition with a roll mark on the cylinder and micro-scratching in the finish (typical for these shiny finishes). Mint bore.
