8/6/24 – This is axcellent example of a Chinese Norinco Type 56 SKS manufactured in 1979. It is all matching (including the stock) with an import mark on the left side of the receiver. This particular gun has an “Oval 9696” arsenal marking. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition with minimal wear on the metal and the stock. The wood stock has a wooden butt plate extension that can easily be removed with 2 screws. Includes the original folding spike bayonet and a canvas sling. The bore is shiney with strong rifling and rates a good 9.5 of 10.
