Description
3/14/25 – For sale is a Colt Model 1911 that was made in 1917 for WW1. The pistol is excellent for its age and retains the polished Colt Blue finish throughout the majority of its parts. The frame and slide both show signs of holster wear, mainly towards the front of the frame and around the muzzle. There is also more wear on the front right side of the slide than the other. The frame has the initials DMA scratched under the serial number. The grips are excellent with minor edge wear. The knurling is still fairly strong. The barrel is also properly marked for WW1 Colt with the H and HP stamped on top. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Comes with a period correct two-tone magazine.
