9/3/25 – This is an excellent example Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1917. It is “United States Property” marked with the proper military inspection proof. Correct “H P” barrel. The gun’s original finish rates 95% with minor high edge wear, some spotty oxidation on the grip straps, and a small area of tiny dings at the back right of the slide. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with one proper two-tone magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is tiny pitting and light oxidation in the grooves.
