2/12/25 – This is a very nice example of an original, early Colt 1911 from 1913.Early slide variation with 1911 patent date, vertical H on the back, and proper barrel with horizontal P H marking.The original blue rates at maybe 90%, with a beautiful profile, but most of the finish loss is found on the front strap and mainspring housing.Excellent wood grips with sharp checkering and no notable defects.Early two-tone mag with lanyard ring.Bore is generally shiny with good rifling, just minor frost in the grooves.
