03/04/2024 – For sale is an Egyptian FN 49 made by FN Belgium. These rifles were the predecessor to the successful FN FAL. Egypt ordered 2 batches of FN49 prior to and during the outbreak of the Arab-Israeli conflict. This rifle is in excellent condition and the finish on the metal is clean and free of rust or pitting. The wood stock looks to be a replacement as it is not serialized. The rest of the rifle is mismatched. The rifle has an aftermarket flash hider attached. The bore is frosted throughout but light shines through with good rifling.
