4/20/23 – This is an excellent example of an end-of-war “a” prefix Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military at the end of WW2, in March of 1945. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 88” military acceptance proofs throughout. It also has the proper late-war cog hammer. It has retained about 95% of its original finish. Minor muzzle wear and very minor wear on some of the high edges. The most obvious sign of wear is light scratchy wear along the right side of the slide. A few casting flaws on the front strap – typical for these end-of-war guns. Fitted with excellent blackish-brown bakelite grips. Comes with a jvd magazine. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
