Description
4/8/24 – This is an excellent example of an end-of-war Steyr BNZ 45 Kriegsmodell rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1945. It is all matching and has the proper characteristics for this variation: “Waffen 623” proofs throughout, mixture of phosphate and blued parts, no bayonet lug, screw-fastened barrel bands, Mauser-made floor plate and trigger assembly. One waffen proof on the right side of the butt stock. The metal parts have retained about 93-95% of their original finish. Most of the wear is on the rear barrel band. Excellent wood furniture. Stone-mint bore. Comes with a period-correct leather sling.
