3/27/2023 – This is an all original and correct 1909 US military issued Colt in 45 caliber.The original finish rates at about 85%, and the bore is a shiny 9 out of 10.The action and timing are excellent, and overall condition is excellent.It has the early Colt “surfboard” logo, and the inspector initials on the frame are RAC.There is an additional FB inspector proof as well.The RAC inspector proofs are also found on the bottom of the original wood grips.The serial numbers are all matching and the bottom of the frame is marked US Army, Model 1909.
