Description
10/31/23 – This is a fantastic Model 1903a3 made by Remington in 1943. This rifle retains ~96% of its original finish and has some finish loss on the barrel & butt plate and some dings on the stock. The receiver and metal parts retain a deep bluing and the receiver stampings are sharp. The stock also looks fresh from the arsenal. The bore is sharp and very bright but it is frosted over. The top of the barrel is stamped with the US Ordnance mark, “RA” for Remington arms, and 4-43 for April of 1943. The rifle comes with a US Military style leather sling.NOTE:The screw that runs from trigger guard up through the wrist of the stock was replaced and is shorter than an original one.
