12/13/24 – This is an original WWII-era M1 Garand stock manufactured by Springfield Armory, marked with the desirable SA/EMcF inspector’s stamp, indicating inspection under Earl McFarland (1942–1944). The stock also features the crossed cannons ordnance stamp on the side and the firing proof test stamp on the grip. It is in excellent condition, with sharp, well-defined markings and no cracks or significant damage. The wood retains its original finish, showing only minimal handling marks consistent with its age. This is a fantastic piece for collectors or those looking to restore an M1 Garand to its authentic wartime configuration.
