Description
3/13/24 – This is a WW2 original Type 30 Arisaka rifle bayonet by Toyota Automatic Loom Works. The bayonet is cited in Labar’s book as LB-143 Variation D. Maker stamped on the base of the blade, which is in near minty condition with minor edge wear. Most of its original bluing remains. Features a cross guard and bird’s head pommel with excellent finish throughout, some minimal scratches. Contoured wood grips are excellent with screws and washers. Comes with a metal cone-tipped scabbard. The scabbard has some minor spots of patina and pinpricking. There is one deeper scratch that runs the length of the scabbard on the side that the edge of the blade goes on, this can be seen in the photos but overall great condition.
