Description
8/21/24 – This is a Colt Model 1877 Double Action “Thunderer” Revolver, manufactured in 1881 and chambered in .41 Caliber. It is all matching and has a factory-nickel finish. The nickel plating rates roughly 70% with areas of chipping with and oxidation throughout, probably most noticeable on the cylinder. Comes fitted with hard rubber grips. Both grips are slightly worn. The left side is a lighter brown, the right is blackish-brown. The initials “F P” are engraved in the oval on the right side. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout. Fully functional. No FFL required.
