3/14/25 – For sale is a scarce Colt 1911 made in 1918. The post has the uncommon Black Army finish which is a darker matte blue. The finish is excellent throughout with minor scratches and wear on the slide and frame. There is edge wear towards the front of the slide. The lower right of the main spring housing has a scuff mark. The grips are excellent with the knurling still strong. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The top of the barrel is stamped with the H and P but they are not intertwined. Comes with a correct 2 tone magazine with an “A” stamped on the toe.
