4/8/24 – This is a fantastic Remington 03-A4 sniper rifle from 1943. It has the proper receiver with offset maker mark and serial number to avoid being covered by the scope mounts and the proper barrel as front sights were never added to original 03-A4 snipers. The rifle has a proper WW2-era “sharp C” type wood stock and is equipped with a scarce M73B1 model scope (excellent optics). It also a parkerized finish with properly blued small parts. Checkered butt plate. It has retained nearly all of its finish with just a few very light surface scratches / scuffs. Minty wood stock – appears to have a faint “JRL” cartouche on the left side. “E” on the underside of the wrist. Mint bore. Comes with a period-correct leather sling and leather eye cups.
