5/23/23 – This piece is a rare WW2 production FG-42 assault rifle magazine. Capable of holding 20 rounds of 8mm Mauser (7.92x57mm), it is identified as a Type G variation magazine. The magazine features a black finish that exhibits high edge wear and mild signs of use and aging throughout. However, there is no rust or pitting present. Its spring remains robust and fully functional. A Luftwaffe proof stamp can be seen on the left side of the magazine, as depicted in photos.
