1/15/24 – This is a nice example of a French MAS MLE 1936. It is all matching (including the stock), but there is an import mark on the right side of the receiver. The finish on the metal parts rates about 90% with general high edge wear. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there is noticeable brown patina throughout. The wood furniture is nice overall, but there are noticeable dings and bruises throughout. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
