8/26/25 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser P.38 put together by the French using leftover Nazi parts immediately after WW2, in 1946. All the numbers on the gun are technically matching, but the suffix on the barrel and frame is “h”, and the suffix on the slide is “k”. It has a French star on the right side of the slide and a “Waffen 135” Nazi proof on the barrel. Fitted with desirable French metal “gray ghost” grips. It comes as a rig with a modified holster and a scarce “U” marked magazine. The gun has the typical dull parkerized finish with just very minor high edge wear. Excellent bore. De-cocker is functional.
