1/6/25 – From the collection of Jan Still, well-known author of collector resource books such as “Axis Pistols”, “Third Reich Lugers”, and more. Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from the Sill family. This is a nice example of a G Date Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1935. All matching with the proper “Droop Wing Eagle 63” and “S92” military acceptance proofs. Its original finish rates roughly 85%. There is minor wear and minor patina concentrated mostly around the high edges, on the grip straps, and around the muzzle. Excellent wood grips – one is un-numbered, the other is numbered but mismatched. Comes with a mismatched but scarce “Eagle 154” G Date magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is noticeable pin-pricking throughout.
