Description
8/13/24 – This is an original WW2 German Civilian Air Supply Service Armband. These are scarce armbands provided to those who helped as aeronautical technicians, mechanics, and supply personnel for the Luftwaffe. The front of the armband has “General = Luftzeugmeister” in black printed Latin script font. There’s also a faded original issue German Eagle ink stamp visible on the front of the armband. The yellow cotton is in great condition with a few mild stains but no major issues and structurally sound. Excellent original stitching throughout all seams. Near the interior vertical seam is a faint ink marking, which appears to be “86 * 91” (or “I6 * 98” upside down, depending how you view it). Guaranteed original as this was purchased directly from the family of a WW2 veteran.
