7/28/23 – This is a very nice example of a Scharfenberg target pistol sold in the German commercial market in the early 1900’s. It has early German “Crown BUG” proofs throughout. It works in single action with a set trigger. The action is extremely smooth with a hair-pin trigger. The finish appears to have been restored with minor wear around the high edges in general and light scratches and handling marks here and there. Fitted with excellent wood grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there is one small spot of light oxidation.
