9/15/25- For sale are a pair of second class German War Merit Crosses. The War Merit Cross was issued for service to the war effort that either did not meet the conditions for the Iron Cross or was preformed outside of combat. The swords indicate non-combat military service. The medals are made of bronze or pressed zinc. One medal maintains the bronze coloring and the other has lost some of the bronzing and is mostly zinc. There is limited wear or damage besides the loss of bronzing on one medal. Overall very good condition.
