10/02/2024 – For sale is a gorgeous Standard Modell made by Mauser in the mid 1930’s. The B Prefix Standard Modells have been observed to be produced for China, Ethiopia, and some have ended up in Japan. The rifle retains an excellent polished bluing throughout its parts. Some spotting of oxidation is visible. The stock is in equally excellent condition with minor handling and pressure marks. The handguard has a harder impact on the top. The cleaning rod is slightly bent. The rifle has matching numbers throughout including the stock and handguard. The bore is bright but is starting to get darker at the muzzle. There are no Japanese or Chinese characters to note on this example.
