8/11/25 – This is a nice example of a German Heer (army) enlisted belt buckle with the Gott Mit Uns meaning “God is with us” clearly present. There is moderate wear on the buckle and chipping of the field gray, but it is still present. On the top and bottom of the buckle, there is some patina and one freckle of rust. Reverse side of the belt is marked “IKA 41”. The buckle comes attached to the well patina’d leather tab seen in the photo which is dated 1940.
