4/24/23 – This is a very nice example of a Beretta Model 1935 manufactured in 1944. It is all matching and has a “4UT” proof, indicating it was made for issue to the Nazi military military. This one also has a scarce high polish finish, as most of them had a much more crude military finish. It comes as a rig with a period-correct magazine and an un-marked brown leather holster – there looks like there may the remnants of faint green paint here and there. The gun itself has retained about 93% of its original bluing. Generally, there is wear on the high edges of the slide and some minor thinning and dulling of the grip straps. Fitted with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips – a blemish on the bottom edge of the right panel. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
