10/2/24 – This is a nice example of an H&R .25 Caliber Self-Loading pistol. All matching. Under license from Webley in England, the H&R .25 Cal was an American clone of the Webley & Scott 1912 with various upgrades during its manufacturing years in Worcester, MA from 1912-16. This gun has an early 3-digit serial number dating to 1912. A total of 16,630 .25 Caliber pistols were made. This one has retained roughly 80% of its original high polish finish. There is noticeable discoloration and spotty wear along the slide. Fitted with blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with one proper magazine. Excellent bore.
