10/7/24 – This is an excellent example of a complete Swedish Husqvarna M40 Rig. It is all matching and has an “RPLT S 5555” unit marking on the right side of the gun, indicating it was issued to the Danish Police force in the 1940’s. Small Ridgefield import mark on the front edge of the frame. The gun comes as a complete rig with an original holster, leather belt with shoulder strap, leather lanyard, five magazines, a cleaning rod, and tool. The gun has retained about 96-97% of its original finish with just very minor high edge and muzzle wear, some tiny surface scratches here and there, and a few small pits on the left side of the trigger. Fitted with reddish-brown bakelite grips. Excellent bore with great rifling.
