11/21/23 – Up for listing is an immaculate condition Swedish M38 Mauser chambered in 6.5×55 made in 1942. The rifle looks fresh from the arsenal and did not undergo the refurbishment that threaded the barrels for blank fire training adapters. The rifle retains a deep bluing with some scratches on the barrel and edgewear on other parts. The rifle is matching for a Husqvarna-made M38 and matches on the receiver, bolt, and buttplate. The bore is mirror bright with sharp rifling. The stock has some small dents but is also in great condition.
