9/15/25- For sale are Imperial German WWI era black wound badges. The wound badge was Germany’s award for injured soldiers and the black badge was awarded after at least one injury due to enemy action. The badge is made of thin stamped steel or brass that is then blackened. Badges have minor wear and patina but are in overall very good condition. Attachment pins are intact and functional.
