3/3/25 – For sale is an Izhevsk 91/30 made in 1942 and was modified into a PU Sniper configuration. The rifle does not fall under the serial block recognized as sniper’s made in 1942. The rifle started as a standard 91/30 rifle that was refurbished after WW2. The metal has the dark refurbished finish with some finish wear on the barrel. The stock has the post war lacquer finish with handling marks. The portion of the stock behind the scope mount is broken away, likely during the conversion. The rifle has post-war force matched numbers throughout. The scope and mount are reproductions and not original. The lens is clear with a sharp reticle. The bore is bright with good rifling. There is an import mark on the barrel.
