06/24/26 – For sale is a Type 44 Arisaka Carbine made at the Koishikawa / Tokyo Arsenal. The carbine is well-aged, with the receiver retaining a good majority of its bluing. There are freckles on the surface and edge wear. The magazine floor had more notable oxidation than the rest. The stock shows many surface scuffs and dings, but no cracks or breaks. The bore is bright without any pitting or corrosion. The rifle is bolt mismatched. The Imperial Mum had been ground.
