06/25/2024 – For sale is an Arisaka Type 44 Carbine used by the Japanese Cavalry units. These carbines feature an underfolding spike bayonet. This rifle retains a nice deep bluing throughout but the Imperial Mum has been ground. The stock and handguard are in great condition but the usual dings and wear marks are seen on Arisakas from use. The bore is fairly bright on the lands but dark in the grooves. The rifling is visible when shining a light. The rifle is mismatched throughout.
