09/27/2024 – For sale is an Arisaka Type 99 produced by the Kokura Arsenal during WW2. The rifle has great bluing throughout and still retains its untouched Imperial Mum. The stock is free of cracks and breaks but has plenty of signs of wear. The stock has been lightly sanded. The serial numbers match on the receiver and bolt assembly, but the nose cap and dust cover are mismatched. The monopod is a reproduction and the 24th series never had a monopod installed. The bore is bright towards the beginning but is darker at the muzzle. The dust cover had been renumbered but doesn’t match. The original type 38 sling is in great condition. The Bayonet is in great condition and is made byHikari Seiki Seisakusho Arsenal Variation F.
