8/15/24 – This is a rare, original Kriegsmarine Officer’s Vehicle Pennant Flag. The pennant is made of cotton twill fabric which is free of stains and retains a dark navy blue color. Both sides of the flag have a sewn-on yellow border and an embroidered, chain-stitched Kriegsmarine eagle holding a wreath/swastika emblem. The brown and golden-yellow colored threading throughout each eagle is excellent and clean. The hoist retains the original rope / string and ha two original steel fastening clips. Overall a beautiful example. Measures about 30.9cm long and 22.2cm wide.
