9/12/24 – This is an original WW2 Luftwaffe Gravity Knife by SMF. This example is in great condition with a shiny, bright blade by SMF. Maker stamped on one side and no other markings. There’s light surface scratches on the blade, but no major issues and visible cross graining throughout. Smooth action and fully functional with strong release / locking lever. The lever and side bar are matching numbered “918”. The lever’s markings are light from wear but are still present and visible. The collapsible spike is clean and functional with a Luftwaffe proof stamp on the base, the spike tip is slightly dented.The original wood handles have some mild surface bruises, and the left panel has two areas where the wood appears to have been worn down with use, resulting in two divots.This dagger also comes with its original rope lanyard.
