5/7/24 – This is an original WW1 Luger Snail Drum Magazine Speed Loading Tool. The tool has a black painted finish with light surface wear and finish loss throughout the handle and base / sleeve. There’s no rust or pitting however, and all of the wear is natural age and use wear. The right side of the base has an added serial number “2493”, with matching numbers “93” stamped on the lever arm and the push-button release. These were post-factory added, either by a police unit, military unit, or military arsenal. The tool is mechanically sound with fully functional moving parts. Great for speed loading and saving your thumbs when loading a 50 round snail drum magazine.
