9/24/24 – This is an original WW2 production M1 Carbine rifle sling. The sling comes with an original oiler, which is stamped “IS” by International Silver Co. The oiler shows light finish loss and natural patina, with a fair amount of original finish still present. The canvas sliver has an olive khaki color and is in excellent condition. Clean canvas throughout with no staining or fraying. The metal “C” shaped ends are clean with parkerized finish, while the interior metal snap button and catch are blued. No markings or stamps, but certainly original WW2 production.
