11/6/23 – This is an original 105mm Heat Round M148A1B1. The shell is marked “EMPTY” as this was likely used for practice and training purposes. Additional markings can be found on the heat round projectile and the base / head stamp of the cartridge. Dated 1976. Measures about 39.25 inches long. Base diameter is 5.75 inches.
