6/13/23 – This is an all original WW2 M40 German Heer Army Helmet. The Heer Army decal is about 85%-90% condition. The exterior of the shell has normal patina with some discoloration as well as some minor surface rust on the top crown, however there is no deep pitting or loss of structural integrity. The helmet is free of dents as well. The interior of the shell is maker stamped “SE” and size 64. The back visor is numbered 9806. The interior leather is all original and fully intact including the chin strap. The leather itself has some fading but little to no wrinklingbut has fairly good pliability with the chin strap having a lot of cracking and wrinkling.
